R.A.R.E (Personal Awareness Learning Style)
"Change the way you think, change the way you feel."
As for his creative art, Charlie states, “As the carving takes shape and comes to life with every chip of wood that hits the floor, it’s like a blanket is being removed ever so slowly to reveal a side of a people that existed long ago. I begin to see an ancient people (my people) and a vision of what certain parts of life were like for them and how they portrayed their connection to the land, sea, animals and nature. I began to understand the
importance of the stories that my people told and tell. I learned to share them with others with enthusiasm that I was shown. I have come to believe that on that particular day when I started carving, the finer lessons in life were beginning to unfold for me and they became increasingly clearer to read. To this very day, as an artist, I have realized that I have not learned all that I am
capable of, with regards to this skilful artwork; however, I look forward to the many different teachings that will evolve from the very personal and spiritual journey that is life.”
